Learning New Skills Along the Way

it's like learning Greek to this non-techie girl...

· the Journey

Though the path to my dreams is slow, I'm picking up priceless skills
as I go!

This music release process is stretching me in technical areas I've avoided until
now. Tagging audio files, purchasing ISRC codes, embedding metadata - it's like
learning Greek to this non-techie girl! But inch by inch, I'm figuring it out.

My wise friend reminds me that mastering new abilities equips us for greater
purposes ahead. Just as David honed his slingshot skills while shepherding, our
present labors are preparing us for future breakthroughs.

This season of obscurity is teaching me to steward small opportunities faithfully.
As the Bible says, "Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be
trusted with much" (Luke 16:10). Each small act of obedience expands our
capacity.

Though acquiring new expertise feels tedious at times, I know these skills will bear
fruit down the road. Ten years from now, I'll look back with gratitude at the
foundation I'm laying today. God wastes nothing in our lives - even mundane
technical tasks are opportunities to grow.

SoI will keep pressing forward, one lesson at a time. These small steps of
progress are bringing me closer to my calling. I'm reminded of Paul's words:
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians
4:13). What once seemed impossible is becoming possible, by God's grace!
